The goal of the RISE Award is to recognize outstanding individuals combating the exploitation of adults and/or children in one or more of the following areas: public education; training; investigation or prosecution of crimes; rescue and protection of victims; provision of rehabilitative services for survivors. Awards will be presented at the 2020 ACCAHT Annual Meeting on January 10th during lunch to recognize substantial contributions toward ending human trafficking in North Central Florida*. All stakeholders are asked to submit nominations.
It will be awarded to individuals whose work exemplifies the skills and qualities which meet the following criteria:
*The nominee’s work has been in one or more of the following Florida counties: Alachua, Baker, Bradford, Levy, Gilchrist, Union
The nominee’s work is directly or indirectly related to human trafficking.
Briefly, describe a case or an example of ‘Serving with Excellence’.
Include any other relevant information about the person’s related work in our community.

Our winner(s) and the persons making their nomination will be notified prior to the annual meeting to be sure both are in attendance for the award presentation. The ACCAHT Board will select the winner(s). ACCAHT Board members and previous year award recipients are not eligible to receive the RISE Award.
